I sent a letter to the '23 girls I coached w/ LiR. It talked about some feelings they will most likely have at some point during year 1 of college and how 2 persevere . The responses were overwhelming❤️. Therefore, I want to share this w/ as many kids as possible. Please share👇🏼

The Rays are the only team in MLB I get slightly nervous making trades w/. The Rays and the Brewers constantly fleece the other teams they trade w/. But. that being said. the trade for Willy worked out just fine 😎.

Yup. Then clubs or coaches actin like they're the reason these kids are gettin their offers. Hilarious.
I think a problem we have in basketball now is an AAU coaches success is based on how many players they can get to go D1. It discourages D2 and D3 ball. And let’s remember it’s a privilege to play at any level. Players - go where you are wanted and what feels like home 🏠 🏀.

If you're a youth sports parent and don't agree w/ this, or are offended by this, you're part of the problem. I feel like this actually applies to coaches too.
Too many kids are struggling in youth sports. Not because of the game. Because of the adults. I wrote this for the well-meaning parents who might not realize they're doing more harm than good. Coaches. feel free to share it. 📸 “Parents Who Hurt More Than Help”

Notice Syd mentioned "friends"?. When you strip away all the nonsense surrounding youth sports, the key to a fulfilling journey is really about relationships, creating memories, and surrounding urself w/ coaches and teammates who believe in you and lift you up when you need it.

😂👏🏼👊🏼. EXACTLY. No one cares if their "barrel rate" is "low", or their "exit velo" is "low", or their team (anything w/ "WAR in it is low. Score runs. Prevent runs. Win baseball games. Those are the meaningful stats.

Great point Jackson. Coaches who don't play kids in youth sports have their priorities completely messed up.
Do your homework on AAU teams!. There’s a lot of teams out there that literally do not play players on the bench. It happens every year.

2 traditional occurrences when driving to Chicago from Madison happened again today. 1) 12 miles from McCormick Place = 46 minute drive. 2) A bro w/ Illinois plates goin 20 over the speed limit and weaving in and out of traffic, flips me off cuz i changed lanes . 😁.
