I am hearing of hard working Americans who voted for Trump and now are being fired from their jobs with the Parks Service, with Veterans affairs, with USAID, with NIH etc. If you are a Trump voter who is being fired or has a family member being fired, please share your story.

Ever since the election, some people are just done with the news. I spoke with some of those news quitters— and learned why this is actually not usually how humans behave!

#Readoftheday The subject of how women leaders present themselves has been masterfully explored in this season of #TheDiplomat. Loved reading more about a specific iconic garment here. https://t.co/p8D8DuriCX via @NYTimes

Sometimes when we borrow words from other languages, English can become delightfully redundant. ‘Scampi’ means “shrimp” so ‘shrimp scampi’ is basically “shrimp shrimp.” Sahara Desert = Desert Desert chai tea = tea tea naan bread = bread bread ahi tuna = tuna tuna
