I dunno why people would call Hawthorne a dump. This is a very nice race track. It’s not Santa Anita but I’m very impressed with the facility. Nice bathrooms, good choice of concessions at reasonable prices. This is a winner for me

Update on Caleb. He seemed in good spirits. I saw him from a distance earlier. Me and Candice dropped off food and drinks and his birthday gifts. We sat in the car and FaceTimed him. Got some sweet MLB shirts and a fitted hat from us. Under the circumstances he seemed ok

Got a call earlier. My beautiful grandmother doesn’t have much time left. I took Caleb today to say our goodbyes. As much as that hurt I’ve found comfort that she doesn’t have to suffer anymore and can rest in eternal peace with our lord and savior 🙏🏼❤️

Found out earlier this week that my Caleb is pre diabetic so I’ve really made it a point to change his diet. Cut out carbs and adding a lot more veggies, fruits and snacks like almonds. It’ll cost me more but he’s my world and it’s worth it.
