Finally, we identified two bacteria species that were enriched in neurotypical people whose provision to mice could ameliorate both colitis severity and its associated sociability deficits. Give it a read and comment below with any questions or comments!.

We also discovered that the microbiotas from people with autism spectrum disorder can convey worsened colitis severity in mice.

We are excited to share the publication of our latest paper! In furthering our understanding of the gut-brain axis, we showed that past intestinal inflammation is associated with deficits in sociability in mice.
