Was surprised that Jeremy Loughman came back onto the pitch after this. Presumed that there would be no need for any off-pitch HIA given what we saw here.

This is huge. This tweet puts context around return to play (RTP) protocol in rugby. And make no mistake, Dr Willie Stewart is a, if not the, leading expert on #concussion in sports A protocol that allows a player to be knocked out and return in 6 days is not fit for purpose.
Reminder in boxing a Technical Knock Out (TKO) = 30 day out of any boxing activity Knock Out (KO) w no loss consciousness, min 60 days out; w LOC min 90 days Meanwhile in other sports same #concussion injury and 'good to go again' inside a week. #dementia #cte #TBI #CISG
