"Although Rohde doesn’t hide his conviction that Trump undermined democracy... he writes in measured language that should hold up well in the light of history. “Where Tyranny Begins” is a work of reporting & sober analysis, not polemic. TY @republicofspin

@RohdeD @republicofspin 1) Mr. Rhohde, I have just listened to the first chapter of your book, “Where Tyranny Begins”. It SO good! I am a retired teacher and I can’t afford to buy all the books I used to buy. But I’m just going to have to purchase yours. There is so much to underline and ponder.

Honest to goodness, @RohdeD was one of the nicest, most generous people I’ve interviewed. Offstage as well as in this conversation. It’s a reminder people can deal with very serious, tough stuff day in and day out, and still treat people with great kindness and respect.

He doesn't promote himself much anymore, so I'll do it when there's a good show. This interview @chucktodd did w/ @RohdeD was eye opening about DOJ. https://t.co/Y4E5ayofYE It makes me think a hell of a President Harris move would be appointing someone like Chris Christie AG.
