Delighted to be speaking at the official launch of our research findings today. Its the UKs largest project on child to parent abuse, involving analysis of police data, crime survey data, practitioner survey, & interviews with stakeholders, practitioners & families
🔦Child/ Adolescent to Parent Violence and Abuse (CAPVA) is a form of hidden harm. Many families experience shame and fear of criminalisation so CAPVA is under reported. 🤝We are working to understand how we can work together to improve the understanding and response to CAPVA.

We’ve launched a student & enquiries central hub, Nest, across three campus locations, online and on the phone, open seven days a week. Nest online, has received 250,000+ visits so far this academic year and supports on average of 1,500 students per day.
