Most people, don’t understand what it means when a senior football player’s season ends. They don’t understand the true finality of it for 95% of these kids -most football players will never put on a helmet and play the game again. That is incredibly difficult.

Just used this Kareem Hunt deal as a teaching moment for my 10 year old son. He isn’t really excited that the chiefs let one of his favorite players go but we got to use a real life example as to why we NEVER hit a women or lie. No matter the reason.

can’t believe my son will wear a HS Bobcat jersey tomorrow. Sure it’s a scrimmage but I have spent many years watching other kids grow and learn on the field - I finally get to watch my own.He could play one play or 900 the next four years - I’ll enjoy it all as long as it lasts
