10 days without drinking water and now it’s ‘safe’. What changed? What tests prove it? What was in the water and why is it no longer in the water? Is @ThreshedThought just sharing the press release? What proof does he have it is now drinkable? @sewateruk @TWellsCouncil
Finally the boil notice has been been lifted in Tunbridge Wells. Your water is now safe to drink. Now we move onto fully holding SEW to account and making sure that appropriate compensation is paid.

The year is 2025. There has been no running water for over 17,000 homes for SIX days. For others, any water that does intermittently drip through the taps is UNSAFE & only good for flushing toilets… This is @sewateruk in Royal Tunbridge Wells.

I understand our MP sharing this info. People want it. I don’t understand why after 5 days of false info our MP believes it. Shares it as if true. @sewateruk are incompetent & clearly don’t know what’s wrong. We’re BOILING TAP WATER. No solution. No leadership anywhere.
Update 2030 Wed 3rd Dec 1/2 Return of Water As you will know, the water should be starting to return to affected properties over the next 24 hours. This water is not fit for drinking and needs to be boiled. SE Water has issued a 'boil notice' and I encourage you to read it

We lost water on Saturday 29th Nov. Came back on Monday 1st Dec. Rumours the water wasn’t safe to drink surfaced yesterday. It took @sewateruk one day to confirm what we feared. Don’t drink the water from our taps in Tunbridge Wells. We have an 18 month old child. Disgraceful.
