Can @sewateruk confirm that the water being pumped into our homes is not, nor has any possibility of being, contaminated with: • Bacteria — E. coli, coliform bacteria, Salmonella • Viruses - norovirus, rotavirus, hepatitis A • Parasites — Giardia, Cryptosporidium ????

The year is 2025. There has been no running water for over 17,000 homes for SIX days. For others, any water that does intermittently drip through the taps is UNSAFE & only good for flushing toilets… This is @sewateruk in Royal Tunbridge Wells.

I understand our MP sharing this info. People want it. I don’t understand why after 5 days of false info our MP believes it. Shares it as if true. @sewateruk are incompetent & clearly don’t know what’s wrong. We’re BOILING TAP WATER. No solution. No leadership anywhere.
Update 2030 Wed 3rd Dec 1/2 Return of Water As you will know, the water should be starting to return to affected properties over the next 24 hours. This water is not fit for drinking and needs to be boiled. SE Water has issued a 'boil notice' and I encourage you to read it

If anyone in Tunbridge Wells needs water bottles bringing to them, please message me. Thinking of those who are vulnerable / have young families with no means of transport. I plan to drive out of town tomorrow morning to buy as many bottles as I can fit in my car 🫶🏼
