P3 enjoyed another amazing workshop with Ben from @RiverTweedNews and showed great aptitude for identifying fish characteristics accurately and remembering their life cycle. Having live fish made it great fun, thank you again Ben! @STEMScotBorders @SBCEducation1 @inspireSBC

Big thanks to Ben from Tweed Foundation who joined us for a River Biodiversity session yesterday with Edenside Primary. Ben delivered amazing activities about fish and freshwater invertebrates. We also used binoculars to get a closer look at the birdlife of the Cobby🐟🦆

Great invertebrate workshop in P3 with Ben McCallum on the wildlife in the Gala. We found leeches, caddies fly larvae and mayfly nymphs! We know all about their lifecycle and how important these creatures are to a clean river. @STEMScotBorders @SBCEducation1 @RiverTweedNews
