I will never understand how Matt Eberflus can watch his defense on a weekly basis on tape and think he’s doing something right. I’m convinced he doesn’t watch.

Not one player on the Cowboys’ defense is even trying. We’ve got guys defending sidelines when receivers are cutting in on them. Nobody is paying attention to where they line up. This is horrendous effort from a team who had a golden opportunity to get into the playoff picture.

False start took a touchdown off the board. Offsides killed an early stop. PI set up a Broncos touchdown. Unsportsmanlike conduct gave them free chance at 2. Defense is playing awful. But the story for the Cowboys today is shooting yourself in the foot.
