Hi @Royal_Greenwich - driving northbound on A102 yesterday @googlemaps sav nav advised to leave at Blackwall Lane and rejoin A102 on opposite slip road. Not only an illegal manoeuvre but adds to pollution and congestion on local roads. Maybe let them know drivers can’t do that.

Within this small area, we have three overground train stations, two DLR stations (one with broken escalators), numerous bus routes, foot tunnel (often broken lifts), strategic cycle route, other cycle routes, and the pier for boat services into London.

Imagine if we could encourage people to drive private cars less and use public transport and active travel more. We’d have safer, cleaner and less polluted streets and a healthier population (Greenwich 9.25am today, light Christmas traffic)

Found this interesting. 5pm today. No queue of cars cutting through West Greenwich to rejoin A2 at the top of Hyde Vale. As a result, eastbound traffic on A2 is more free flowing past the junction. Just a snapshot.

Might people be starting to adapt to the changes? Seeing less posts on SM about fear of gridlocked streets. Signage is being improved. No rush to implementing the enforcement phase. Already high compliance. Not much interest in donating to a legal challenge fund.

Greenwich traffic 4.25pm today. Surprisingly, A102 is free flowing southbound. No signs of any traffic displacement further east to Charlton. Modal filters have been operational since 3pm. It’s just a snapshot.
