How does @elonmusk reconcile saying nobody would hire him, forcing him to start his own company, with believing there’s not enough US talent today? Could we be overlooking untapped genius like his once was? Are we as an industry truly trying as hard as we say we are?

Entire NBA+NFL = under $1T market cap. They run youth camps, fund schools, scout middle schools, develop talent for 10+ years. FAANG alone = ~$10T market cap. Our pipeline: posting jobs on LinkedIn and whining. The math is embarrassing.
