Water companies face £168m fines over historical #sewage spills as a part of Ofwat's largest ever investigation into their performance. Excellent news that something is being done about sewage spills but is it a right approach & who really pays for this.

It is sad that the facades I Guilford Crescent is gone but what was more shocking for me that they have blocked the pavement without any consideration for pedestrians & they have @CCScheme sign there too. @cardiffcouncil

I see arguments for dredging after we have significant flooding around the UK. It is important to remember that dredging is not the solution to large floods. This thread might be helpful to some people.
