Only 41.5% of bystanders in Northern Ireland performed CPR after coming across a person in cardiac arrest from Jan-Mar 2025. Cardiac rehab patients in LVH and Downpatrick completed CPR training to make themselves #resusready incase of an emergency @setrust @BHFNI ♥️⚡️

Defibs significantly increase the chance of surviving a cardiac arrest, yet in 2023, they were used in just 8.3% of cases outside hospitals. This is why greater public awareness and education is needed. These devices save lives, but only if people have the confidence to use
