Repo Prompt by @pvncher - the context engineering tool to help you get the most out of your ai subscriptions.

Iterate on code with a tool that respects your time
If you've ever had to wait minutes for simple changes to be handled by your ai agent, I encourage you to give this XML Edit workflow a try! It's great for rapid iteration, but it's also excellent for a first pass implementation with GPT-5 Pro. Here's how it works 👇

Just released a bonus update for @RepoPrompt (1.5.56) It finally adds proper support for background jobs so you can use 5.2 Pro over the api without running into timeout errors!
Just released @RepoPrompt 5.2! It adds full support for 5.2 over api and codex cli, in addition to updating to 5.2 Pro over api. There are also a number of MCP improvements! Full changelog here: https://t.co/hz9Qb3r4ji

Just released @RepoPrompt 1.5.53 It fully overhauls how MCP clients connect to the app, removing brittle local TCP connections in favor a fully local Unix Socket based transport. Expect more reliable mcp connections and lower cpu use!

The AI stack is getting wild. @AmpCode (manager) → @RepoPrompt → Codex CLI (actual coding) Three layers deep and it just works. Once your codebase is set up right, you can basically orchestrate the whole thing and let the tools figure it out.

Just released @RepoPrompt 1.5.46 with full support for the new codex-max model. I still recommend using GPT-5.1 vanilla in the RP chat, and keeping Codex only for the context builder!

This was part of a coding session where I had @RepoPrompt run a review (using GPT 5.1 High) after an implementation (using Opus 4.5), and it found a couple of critical issues. I then ran Context Builder, and it generated a plan after it found the necessary context.
Thanks to @najibninaba sharing this screenshot in the @RepoPrompt discord, using the new plan follow up feature. You just prompt Claude to use the context builder to plan a task, and then it’s ready to build right away, with a link back to the chat for follow up questions

This is live now in @RepoPrompt 1.5.45! But there's more! The context_builder mcp tool has been improved with the ability to auto generate plans that the agent can ask follow-up questions on with the built in chat! Really is the best way to start tasks now!

@RepoPrompt is completely changing the way I code and think about workflows. Opus 4.5 in Plan mode using RP’s context discovery capabilities with Codex + the ability for it to discuss its implementation with 5.1-High and iterate feels like an insane level up.

While at the @sfrubyconf, I spoke with many developers about @RepoPrompt and gave a lightning talk on how to use this tool to improve your agentic coding skills. I've been using RepoPrompt since GPT-1 Pro, and it's my daily coding tool. I do: 1. Code prompt building 2. MCP pair
Thanks to all the new @RepoPrompt pro users for supporting an indie project! Black Friday isn’t over yet, so if you’re still on the fence it’s a great time to pick up the app, and join the rp community to raise the ceiling on what you can accomplish with coding agents.

Finally revamped all the @RepoPrompt docs, making them more approachable and up to date! And, you can now copy all the docs to the clipboard to talk to an LLM about them! It's also the last day of the Black Friday sale! https://t.co/6Ccauwunhe

Tip: Codex and Opus 4.5 were still having issues generating valid @convex code. Used @RepoPrompt's context builder to extract all of the instructions from @convex's own chef product and had GPT-5.1-pro write a detailed instructions file to reference from

The really cool thing with this release is that now I can automate preparing prompts for 5.1 Pro, by having Opus read my bug triage, and then automatically assemble context one after another in different @RepoPrompt tabs.
Just released @RepoPrompt 1.5.42 Long requested feature to make context builder into an MCP tool! So your agents can use it as a sub agent now! Hope you all have a lovely thanksgiving long weekend, and reminder the black friday deals end on Monday!
