Is it just me or do y'all find it ironic that the same folks who fight hard to keep our antiquated tax “uniformity” clause in place are also the same folks who are arguing that the framers didn't want a uniform system of education and educational funding?
“Pennsylvania ranks 45th nationwide in the share of education funding that comes from state coffers. That leaves local school districts to raise a substantial chunk of money on their own; poorer districts, with less taxable wealth, come out behind.”
