Make no mistake: This oncoming crisis is the fault of Governor Shapiro and no one else. The Governor must abandon his progressive wishlist and come to a reasonable agreement that spends within our means. #HoldtheLine.
Pennsylvania's county commissioner association sent a letter to Gov. Josh Shapiro and lawmakers today noting that the seven week budget impasse means "counties may have no choice but to raise property taxes and cut services" while "simply asking you to do your job."

9 cyber charter schools sent a letter to lawmakers today saying they "will be forced to either close or . drastically alter" their programs if provisions of HB1500 are included in the state budget. Letter attached:

PA Turnpike executives got a FIVE-FIGURE pay raise from the commission earlier this year — all while tolls continue to rise for Pennsylvanians. I think it’s time we exercise our oversight power over the commission and hold them accountable.
