Thank you! Your such strong leader and advocate for Tucson, you’ve helped expand the opportunities!.
Thank you @RepKirkpatrick for supporting investments that will be felt by #Tucsonans for years to come. These will improve pedestrian and bike paths, support our unhoused neighbors, protect our communities from #climatechange, and revitalize spaces that bring us all together.

Oh boy, this is bittersweet. My final LTE as a Member of Congress. "As I reflect on my nearly two decades representing Arizonans and prepare for my retirement, I feel immensely grateful for the opportunities and successes we have had along the way. ".

I introduced the TEACH Act to support our educators & increase teacher retention. This bill authorizes a study of the impact COVID-19 had on educators & establishes a grant program to implement and improve wellness programs for school employees.

Today there are 567,000 fewer educators in public schools than there were pre pandemic. Educators deserve the resources they need to provide the best education, the TEACH Act will support our nation’s educators by promoting teacher well-being and reducing educator stress. 2/3.

I started my career as an educator and as I prepare for retirement, I’m satisfied knowing the last piece of legislation I introduced in Congress will support our nation's educators, and I am hopeful that my colleagues will continue the work to support our nation's educators. 1/2.

It’s true, @RepGregStanton was instrumental in keeping this a top priority for the admin. Proud of his unwavering commitment to keeping Arizonans safe. Good representation matters.
.@POTUS, @SecBlinken & @RepGregStanton should be commended in their work to help secure her release. Congress stands firmly with the Administration as they continue working to secure the release of Paul Whelan & other Americans unjustly detained in Russia.

No one should be discriminated against because of who they love. We can't take anything for granted w/ this MAGA Supreme Court threatening our freedoms; Congress must act. I'm proud to vote for #RespectForMarriageAct, which strengthens the rights of millions under federal law.
