Its a very different game:
-Characters play completely differently, with different movesets
-Completely different RC system
-Very different rosters
-Very different defensive mechanics
-Different combo system
Its not better, its just different.
If you got the money, try it.

For those that don't know, the English translation of Strive added completely new text that mention that Ky took Sin's eye in GG World, however this is nowhere to be found in the Japanese text which is the same as it was in Xrd

If i remember correctly, in the explanation for Dragon Install in GG World it flat out says that Ky gained DI from taking Sins eye, but since Daisuke in a later interview said "its from his relationship with Dizzy" i think it might have been retconned (Gear STDs live!!!).

They still had the rights to characters from GG1 & side material like the books, which is how GG2 exists

A cool detail with Answer is that he copies a move Chipp a Ki user uses, but to show that Answer does not have Ki magic he has no effect on his move.
Jam & Baiken are also Ki users & share this same move.

Not all is dismanteled, since for example the nation of Zepp & the Jellyfish pirates use blacktech (non-magical technology) nearly exclusively.

The reason i like AKI is because she is what people think Juri is.
AKI is actually an insane murderer, while Juri is just an anti-social tiktoker
I really want to like AKI but I just can’t help but be a bit disappointed cause I was hoping for more of the “cold, calculated, merciless” type instead of woman FANG - believe it or not Capcom that doesn’t instantly solve all of the character’s problems (…although it helps)
