On 25 Mar 2025, Amb Rena Lee was conferred an award as the 2024 Manley-Bendall Maritime Personality of the Year by the French Maritime Academy (Académie de marine) at the European Naval Academies Symposium, in recognition of her contributions as President of the BBNJ IGC.

On 11 Feb 2025, Amb Rena Lee delivered the keynote speech at the @UNIDIR-@RSIS_NTU Asia-Pacific Regional Consultation on the Application of International Humanitarian Law to Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems.

On 22 Jan 2025, Amb Rena Lee delivered the keynote address at the @NUS_CIL's Year in Review 2025 Conference, recalling 80 years since the establishment of the United Nations and its role in international law-making.

Amb Rena Lee delivered a presentation on "Participation in International Law and the Multilateral Approach to Justice", on 9 Dec at @GrotiusCentre. She shared her insights on participation by small States, at all levels of international law making, implementation and compliance.
