The 4th World Environmental Law Congress wrapped up this week in Morocco. One key message to come out of the Congress is that what is needed is a legal system that protects and enhances the #environment in an integrated manner. @iucn_wcel #intlaw

On 11 Feb 2025, Amb Rena Lee delivered the keynote speech at the @UNIDIR-@RSIS_NTU Asia-Pacific Regional Consultation on the Application of International Humanitarian Law to Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems.
MINDEF co-hosted the inaugural Asia-Pacific Regional Consultation on the Application of International Humanitarian Law to Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems frm 11 to 13 Feb, which was attended by Defence, Foreign Affairs & Legal officials frm 17 countries in the region.
