Though we have never met, spoken, nor had any connection, a sincere friendship can still exist between us, just as Mahayana Buddhism proclaims: "Great compassion without conditions, and shared suffering as one body(无缘大慈，同体大悲)."

And it has roughly defined the characteristics of such pure friendship. I dedicate this work to those in the world who, like me, are constrained by the pressures of survival and too poor to travel far.

While friendship comes in various forms - some requiring frequent material exchanges, others merely nodding acquaintances - through limited comparative studies, we have discovered that friendship can be purely platonic.

Just as an ancient Chinese saying goes, "Though mountains and rivers separate us, we share the same sky under the sun（山川异域，日月同天）."

Author Insights: What concept could possibly unite these three elements? In fact, the only answer we can think of is friendship, which transcends beliefs, races, and regions to unite people.
