A young woman (31 yrs old) with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer had an urgent bone scan on Monday cancelled (in England). Can you imagine how she feels? Utterly reprehensible and completely unnecessary infliction of pain and distress.
My hospital appointment on the 19th, which had already been postponed from a previous date, has been cancelled. My heart goes out to acutely ill people, and people in terrible pain, who've had surgery, scans and cancer treatment cancelled
