It was great seeing Dasko yesterday! @MississaugaFES put on a fantastic educational event! I spoke to people who came from Georgetown and Milton… and of course our Ward 9 friends.
Always enjoy attending Mississauga's Fire Prevention Open House. Very informative, including an exhibit on the dangers of lithium batteries. Nice to spend some time with Councillor Reid. The Gary Morden Centre, named after a former Fire Chief, is an excellent training facility &

I hear from residents in the ward9 area that there is no need for bike lanes because there is already a connected trail and MUT system. Google maps confirms this by guiding me to church from Cora’s via said trails.Keep building on the boulevard. I see our students use them daily

Today the doors opened at the Adamson Estate under Museums Mississauga. This iconic & heritage building is now open to the public. The first exhibit is called A History Exposed: The History of Black Enslavement in Canada, hosted by Pier 21, curated by Dr. Cooper & the only GTA

On a bike ride out to Cora‘s this morning, riding past these buildings I am reminded that Ward 9 has a great mix of purpose-built rentals and single-family homes. That building in the background is the new Elora building and the building in the foreground is also a new build.
