Sometimes I wonder what my dog thinks we're doing when I take him for a walk. Is this a fun activity? Exercise? A perimeter check? Ongoing turf battle with every other dog in the neighborhood?

First Grade Update: We read the book, "What the Dinosaurs Did Last Night: A Very Messy Adventure" and first grade cubs had to use their knowledge of plot and using details in writing to write an alternate ending to the story. I loved seeing their creativity!! @canSTEM

No matter how many #WhatTheDinosaursDid books we make, I am always surprised by how much work they are. You'd think that by #4 we'd be able to predict the level of effort a little better, but now here I am painting my porch to look like a spooky green house.

btw @andrewauseon, your German expressionism/stop mo comparisons were both extremely validating and impressive as hell. I was watching a ton of Nosferatu, Metropolis, etc. when I first conceived of Frances, and it was originally intended to be a stop motion short.

Whenever my wife uses voice to text —which is A LOT — I yell something nonsensical into her phone and if it transcribes, she has to send the text as-is. Best part is she can't help cursing Every. Single. Time, making the resulting text even more ridiculous.
