Whenever Republicans simply fulfill their electoral mandate it gets conflated with "personal grievances" and petty politics. No. Dismantling the Federal Government isn't a favor to Vought. It is finally executing Republican promises to their voters for the last 2 decades.
New: During Trump’s first term, Russ Vought did more than perhaps anyone else to turn the president’s demands and personal grievances into action. In his second term, it’s now Trump who is fulfilling Vought’s goal of dismantling the federal government.

Republican governance did this to Minnesota. Both Gov. Arne Carlson and Tim Pawlenty (who ran for president!) supported the “legal” resettlement of tens of thousands of Somali refugees into MN, setting the stage for Tim Walz to bring in 100,000+. Our party did this to us.
What our “elites” did to Minnesota is one of the great tragedies of recent history.

If you want to see more than 4% then the answer is to deregulate and reindustrailize.
GDP growth is currently an outstanding 3.9%, and AI is 40% of that. It’s easy for politicians to posture and grandstand by beating up on tech. But the real question is whether they want 4% growth rates or 2% growth rates.
