Year 6 are currently enjoying a money workshop from @RedSTARTeducate at @landg_group today. They are playing games to earn money, make investments and earn interest. Through this, they are learning all about borrowing as well as risk and reward.

We are delighted to be able to share not only our fantastic Reception activities, but to also provide each child with a copy of Save Your Acorns, to remind them about saving at home.

More than 3,700 primary school children aged between 6 β 8 from 45 schools in underprivileged rural and urban areas across England and Scotland were surveyed on a range of age-appropriate money-related questions including money management, financial aspirations and goals.

We believe it is possible to improve the financial knowledge, and therefore prospects, of all 4.7 million primary school children across the UK, but especially those starting life in a position of socio-economic disadvantage.
