Year 1 have been very busy this week designing and making Treorchy Primaryโs first โAir Bee & Beeโ ๐. We upcycled an old basket to make a Bee Hotel/Gwesty Gwenin that includes all the important things we have learned that bees need. Da iawn pawb! ๐ธ @EcoSchoolsWales

As part of our โBees and Meโ inquiry, Year 1 have been investigating how we can make our school yard wildlife friendly. We completed our designs and made a start today by planting some flowers. We learned how to take care of them and canโt wait to watch them bloom! ๐๐ธ

Fabulous afternoon at our last Cluster Football event this academic year. Treorchy Pinks came 1st in The Champions League with Treorchy Greens placing 3rd in the Premiership. Big thank you to all the cluster schools and all the parents/ family members for attending. โฝ๏ธ ๐ฅ

Dosbarth Fioled learnt about variables in computer coding lesson today. Children worked hard to use Scratch to create a points scoring game using variables. Lots of tinkering to improve their projects too ๐๐ป
