Invasive Golden Mussels are a new threat to waterways in California. Just down from Reclamation’s Trinity Dam, @CaliforniaDFW staff tests the water to see if it could host mussels. Other tests indicated mussels were not found at this time. Learn more:

Reclamation keeps Whiskeytown Reservoir at full pool all summer and our partners at the @NatlParkService take full advantage. Park rangers lead the public on free interpretative kayak tours where participants learn about nature and the cultural history of the area!

Reclamation was honored to welcome residents from the Veterans Home of California to Shasta Dam recently. The group of 18 veterans enjoyed the tour that was led by Reclamation Guide Bree, who is a veteran herself.
