7/7 We learned some clear lessons which shape *how* to podcast over on YouTube: 👉 Quality > quantity 👉 Focus on each channel separately, doing the relevant research and work required for each platform Loads more insights 👉 https://t.co/xLcBCZsXmZ

6/7 From now on, we’ll be putting out one, well researched and highly considered video made *specifically* for YouTube, still with the goal of educating and informing podcasters, as well as growing the channel. Why?

5/7 These videos began to get us loads more views and subscribers compared to the previous months. But it wasn’t enough to just copy the audio version. We had to research and write new titles, descriptions and tags for every. single. episode. So we stopped.

4/7 So, we revisited. We edited *for* YouTube. @MrAsquith delivered the audio to give us a point from which to edit the video. No musical intro, no host-read ads.

3/7 Our next experiment was to stick @MrAsquith in front of a camera in the studio and record live video at the same time as the audio podcast. No script, no edit, and with the podcast intros/ad reads. They got a few more views but the format wasn’t right!

2/7 We wanted to get into a regular schedule with our channel. We already record an audio version, so why not pop that on YouTube? We took the audio, added a nice graphic and automatically sent the audio podcast to YouTube. The result?
