Great to see this piece out yesterday, emphasising that the results of our recent study in @Nature on the sufficiency of global conservation interventions is not at odds with the @Science paper by Langhammer et al. on their efficacy. The two are complementary, fully agree.
Global biodiversity loss is showing no signs of slowing down. Two broad studies have attempted to analyse where conservation efforts have failed and succeeded, with seemingly contrasting results.

Here I say microclimates are important for five reasons. To retain specific species, allow thermoregulation, provide a diversity of niches, provide resilience to annual variability and resilience to climate change. More videos
