@JenResistedAGN @DominiqueGeek There is a record of Noah, his family, and the flood, in nearly all cultures and languages.

He then quotes his own tweet and says that the term for worship when applied to Jesus must be the deity version. But the curious part is the lack of context for deity worship by no inclusion of latreia (λατρεία) or leitourgia (λειτουργία) Inconclusive by @WesleyLHuff own words

This is incredible from @WesleyLHuff. He criticizes people's understanding of Greek and provides excellent content (by my novice understanding of Greek) to indicate that the term most often used for worship might not be so clearly defined between kings and gods.
The New Testament Gospels contain multiple passages where Jesus is worshipped — indicating a recognition of His divinity. For example, the Magi worshipping the infant Jesus (Matthew 2:11), and various individuals worshipping Him after miraculous events, including a healed leper

Ffs, Paul isn't the author of the letters to Timothy or Titus. But let's just assume he forgot the preamble he included on each of his other letters for Hebrews.

It's bold. It's sexy. It seems so straight forward! But when pressed on the issue he retreats to a position that's actually defensible. His Bailey. In this case it's "timezones are political" The claim that the globe can't handle timezones is indefensible, so he retreats.

This is hilarious 2 fold. 1. Flat Earther doesn't know his geometry. Both sphere and circle divide into 360°. 2. It's a classic Motte and Bailey fallacy: Timezones don't work on a globe! They're messy! They're uneven! This is his Motte. A simple claim.

"Darwin to Jesus" but doesn't understand science in the slightest? This kid has a maximum high school education before abandoning science.
@BruceWayneDND Phones do not come from science. It’s not like there’s science and then out pops a phone. In fact, the existence of phones and other technology could have nothing to do with science, because all you have is correlation, not causation. At best science is **helpful** in producing a

I love it when KJV only people don't know the history. They seem to think it was handed directly from God to man 😂
@ReasonGlobie @_Ochiedike What are you trying to say now? King James is the first version of Bible that was translated into English.

I hate it when I agree with Matt Walsh....
Human civilization would not exist and none of us ever would have been born if humans throughout history had this kind of attitude. "Afford to get married" is a modern concept. Totally nonsensical. There is no entry fee for marriage. Most of the "costs" are self-imposed.

😂 you have to align with God for protection. But while you're aligned with God, you will still be tempted, tested and unprotected.

1 The fossil record shows incredible amounts of death prior to the Adam and Eve story. To believe in Adam and Eve, you must reject the current scientific consensus on the history of the earth 2 There would have been death. That's why God kicked them out https://t.co/faUqCJyNz7
@ErichKays @Natha_Pee there was no death until after there was knowledge of evil until after

God doesn't have an interest in protecting you. Only in testing. Prayer is now useless. https://t.co/5AuRffygFn
@Natha_Pee The point wasn't to protect them. It was to test them and they failed.

This is why I love reading @GlobeSlay3r's posts. Most flat Earthers say "we don't see curvature" or "we have no measurements of curvature" GlobeSlayer comes in and says "we observe curvature, but it's actually flat"
@Stinkhorn11 @egolder256 We observe the light from celestial bodies such as the sun and polaris to bend at 1°/69miles on N/S basis, because E/W is an equidistant circle "around" the body. How and where an observer perceives the sun is observer and condition specific .
