this is mostly wrong and kind of right. I think we can all agree, the best romance ever written was Pride and Prejudice, written by a woman. But there is a whole lot of smut and porn that pretends to be romance written for women. Modern male romance is just porn the other way.

The hyper sexualization in fiction writing, specifically fantasy, has replaced nearly all content creation, and it has subverted the genre into “male fantasy” or “female fantasy,” or in other words, make porn and female porn.
