I agree Tony! Do sign this petition - its argument is unanswerable: there's no point renovating tennis courts if it means you then not only need a tennis racket but also a smart phone to use them. Here's a clip of @thefridgeman sticking it to @the_LTA: https://t.co/tPs7Y9MuYv
So Wimbledon is in full swing. But there's another story going on. If you agree with me - sign this. - https://t.co/3AL6qfdLbN

@RealDMitchell @thefridgeman @the_LTA One initiative that needs more publicity is the free tennis sessions that happen weekly on those courts where all equipment is provided too. A lot to be done to make the courts as accessible (and well maintained) as possible https://t.co/BE3vqJKmlP

@RealDMitchell @thefridgeman @the_LTA My friend called me when we were in Singapore. She said "I'm having drinks with Robert Webb" She handed the phone to him and I asked him where the "good" one was meaning David Mitchell of course. He was SUPER unhappy about this!

@RealDMitchell @thefridgeman @the_LTA Free, agreed, but with controlled access via booking. Otherwise it’s full of people hogging the courts or playing football-tennis. It’s 2025, smartphones or internet access are not a new thing. Libraries also should have computers with internet access.

@RealDMitchell @thefridgeman @the_LTA Libraries DO have computers with internet access, but how many are still open or have not had their opening hours reduced? #torycuts

@RealDMitchell @thefridgeman @the_LTA Oh I suppose bring back hanging and a public identification card is the right way to go is it? Because I've got ideas of my own, big ideas.
