Unwinding Practice

Breathe in for 7 seconds, hold for 7 seconds, breathe out for 7 seconds, hold for 7 seconds. Focus on each inhale and exhale and just counting to 7. Continue until you feel yourself start to calm down. For me this is usually within 5 minutes.

When I was around 7 or 8 years old, my dad took me to Oman to see the turtles hatching. Beyond it being an amazing experience, it was a solo trip with my Dad which made the experience even more incredible.
