🧠 AI Themed Reviews. You can now effortlessly create themed reviews in Readwise to resurface highlights only related to a particular topic or interest (thanks to LLMs). (eg your weekly review of highlights about productivity, happiness, parenting, or whatever your focus)

🎧 Audio Reviews. You can now listen to your Readwise daily reviews on-the-go. This includes high quality voices and natural transitions resulting in a personalized, podcast-like listening experience of the best ideas you've read and want to revisit.

✒️ E‑Ink Mode. If you use Reader on an Android-based e-ink device, such as a Boox or Daylight, you should find the overall experience to be better optimized, including better black on white contrast and reduced animations. Just enable E-Ink mode.

📜 PDF Clean View v2. Your newly uploaded PDFs now come with a much higher quality rich text version, as well as auto-fixed titles & authors. Read, highlight, and listen to PDFs as if they were any other reflowable document. No more squinting or pinching to zoom!

Previously, Reader treated books like really long articles. Now the app smartly loads one chapter at a time, leading to a huge speed up ⚡️. The reading experience is also completely transformed, closer to other ebook apps. If you've ever tried a book, it's worth trying again :).

Pocket users: You can save your entire Pocket archive into Reader in seconds. Reader is under constant development, supports many features (save pdfs, tweets, epubs, etc, AI, filtering) that Pocket never did. PS- we're also bootstrapped & not going anywhere :).
Wow! Saddened to hear that @Pocket (the biggest read-it-later app) is shutting down on July 8th. You can import all of your pocket articles, highlights, etc into @ReadwiseReader with two clicks
