On #react static site generators. Iβve picked my favourite after a month of part time evaluation @ReactStaticJS ππ» Key reasons: - #TypeScript support out of the box π - Simplicity, the project templates explain the how in few lines of #JavaScript code π β€οΈπΉ

CSS-only interactive widgets are, most of the times, inaccessible hacks. JavaScript is *required* to build certain components accessibly. Please donβt advocate CSS-only alternatives when JS is needed for accessible state/functionality. The Web has enough inaccessible UIs as is.

Starting today, I will be shifting away my open source focus from @ReactStaticJS to @zeithq's Next.js framework! I'm really excited about this change and future of serverless pre-rendering for websites! Note: Still running https://t.co/sxcVgKjXDE. I'm not working for @zeithq.

React Static was built like this from the ground up for these very reasons. SSG 101? No generated file's size should be even remotely related to the scale of the site overall. Good job Gatsby! Keep jammin'!
A great technical article about @gatsbyjs's large site perf. https://t.co/WBY0AgTThK

Learning React Static for a freelance client! It's a newer static site generator that just like GatsbyJS, is a way to quickly build PWAs with SEO & also includes smooth scrolling, but unlike GatsbyJS, it's data-agnostic meaning you don't have to use GraphQL to manage your dataπ
