If you have an in-office ultrasound: it’s a great tool to quickly determine if you’re dealing with a possible syndesmosis injury (and need further diagnostic work-up) or ā€˜just’ a lateral ankle sprain! Great job by @BaltesTPA & team. Follow him for more upcoming ankle research!.

Great work by our ankle team @Aspetar and @ACES_Amsterdam. 100% accuracy of Ultrasound (US) for anterior syndesmotic (AITFL) discontinuity! . Anterior syndesmotic discontinuity on US = increased probability of instability!. @PdHooghe @KerkhoffsG @Jltol.
