Joe Boyle significantly lowered his arm angle in 2025 after being acquired from the A's . He's added a ton of horizontal movement to his FB and has well-above league average h-movement on his new Splitter . Hopefully it helps keep him healthy too. Good notice by @adamdberry

Everson Pereira’s an interesting prospect . Serious power but major contact issues. 254 IS0 and 72.1% Z-Contact in 314 PA in AAA this season (age 24).
How about this? The Yankees have acquired Jose Caballero from the Rays for Everson Pereira and a PTBNL. Caballero will be pulled from Yankees-Rays game. He will only have to walk from the third base side to the first side to meet his new team. He’s tied for MLB lead with 34 SB.

The Cardinals made a big trade yesterday dealing closer Ryan Helsley . One of the prospects in the return was Jesus Baez, who I covered a lot this offseason. He had some good EV numbers at age 19 and doesn’t strike out a lot.
