5/ What does this do to our impression of the stock market? You could be nihilistic and say well the stock market is already full of gamblers.

4/ Now we start showing RLT prices on tickers. Gamblers signing up for Robinhood accounts in droves. We start holding RLT next to other equities in our 401K. Trading volume explodes. News outlets talk about how RLT is growing faster than Apple/Disney/etc.

3/ Let’s play out a hypothetical scenario. Let’s combine casinos with the stock market. Say we were able to get listed RLT onto the NYSE. RLT has simple roulette-style mechanics. Everyday flip a coin. Heads, treasury buys back $1M of RLT. Tails, treasury sells $1M worth of RLT.

2/ We have apples and oranges side-by-side everywhere. On crypto exchanges, all of these assets are presented in a portfolio. On market cap leaderboards, they’re presented in a single list.In wallets, they’re all just assets to be held. Treating all tokens identically makes no.

1/ We need some better abstractions for categorizing different types of coins/tokens, especially if we’re trying to tokenize/coin everything. It’s as if the stock market, foreign currency exchanges, collectibles markets, and digital service credits were all flattened in a list.

5/ Then I dig into the original email headers, and there's mentions of relaying through Outlook and Namecheap email servers. Now that's definitely weird. This is incredibly sophisticated. I can't imagine my parents noticing the things that kept me from logging in. @Google sites.

4/ Here's where my alarm bells started to go off, but it's subtle. You're logging into the page, claiming to redirect you to Why log in again? I tried going to directly to see if there's any mention of this

3/ They got the Google Material vibe down. Looks like the real thing. The attackers paid attention to the details. You cannot view this page from incognito mode. You have to be logged into a valid Google account to see this page. Then if you click "View Case".

2/ From address is spoofed to look like it's coming from Google support. Inside is a link to a Google sites page to review my case. At first I thought, it is possible the legal department is under-staffed enough to service requests through Google sites. I go to the page.

1/ Wow, this is one of the scariest phishing attacks I've gotten in a while. Do not fall for this!. This came straight to inbox, not marked spam, looks like a legitimate notice from Google about a law enforcement request against my account.
