as much as we want to see new blood on a team that just runs back the same failed formula year after year, one of the lineup's biggest problems is too much swing and miss and Bohm is one of their better contact hitters
Phillies fans clamoring to trade Bohm and sign Eugenio Suarez is just irresponsible. Mostly a one dimensional player, big pop with very high strikeouts and chase rate. Poor defense. Bohm will at least hit .280+ and put together good at bats. If you want to get rid of Bohm, fine.

not thrilled with the Sean Mannion hiring for the Eagles. It either ends 1 of 2 ways. He hits the ground running and gets the Eagles back on track, then bolts for a HC job in 2027. Or he falls flat on his ass like Kevin Patullo. Either way he may be yet ANOTHER one and done OC

football is meant to be played in the elements. The better teams are the ones who make adjustments & adapt to the conditions. If you're one of the fans saying conference championship games should be played at neutral site domes, then you're soft and should go watch tennis instead

next year there will be a long lockout and the Phillies and Dombrowski will use that as an excuse for a "mutual parting of the ways". They'll frame it as a retirement and it needs to happen. Watching DD work right now is like watching Steve Carlton pitching in 1986
Dave Dombrowski is obviously a lock for the Hall of Fame, but it really feels like he's just lost touch with where the sport is trending. Poor read on the FA market, only trades with a handful of teams, often publicly telegraphs moves, and refuses to do opt-outs.

They misread the outfield market, misread the catcher market, and misread the Bo Bichette market. Comfortably Dombrowski's worst offseason to date with the Phillies.

Beaver Stadium is undergoing major renovations. Jay Paterno has said this is a test run to see if they could pull off an NHL Stadium Series game with the Flyers & Penguins, a battle of PA, when the renovations are complete. Try doing some research before giving misinformed posts
Just a massive miss by the NHL not doing Caps-Pens at Beaver Stadium. Crosby vs Ovi outdoors at this place would be all time.

usually when a team president or GM says they're content you usually take it a with a grain of salt and assume they're just playing it close to the vest, not wanting to show their hand. But with Dave Dombrowski, you really feel like he truly is content and done making moves

ppl need to STFU with this Gen Z is worried about their health so they don't drink. They don't drink b/c they're anti-social hermits. They're the most obese generation, gym memberships and sports participation have declined with them
Gen Z isn’t going out and Millennials outgrew binge drinking. There’s not enough new blood to keep alcohol producers in business. People have woken up to the exorbitant costs, health risks, and general shitty feeling the morning after.

@RayMoffo This may well be true but how do you rebuild with weak farm system & multiple aging “ stars” with $30 million per season contracts? The Phillies could be an historical mess & an owner who has a poor track record of selecting GMs + team presidents
