Today at PMQs, I shared Ben's story. Ben’s treatment gives hope to our new drug trial, launched in memory of my sister Margaret. But hope alone isn’t enough. The NIHR must release the £40m promised for brain tumour research, so every patient can have the same chance as Ben.

Today marks five years since the publication of the EHRC Report on Antisemitism in the Labour Party. The Labour Party has come so far under the leadership of Keir Starmer, having turned the party around to be a place where you can be proud to be Jewish.

Promise made, promise delivered. Labour’s transformational Renters’ Rights Bill has received Royal Assent, meaning it is now law. Proud to have introduced legislation to improve the lives of millions of renters across the country with the protections and security they deserve.

A new report by a former top official at the Department for Education outlines how attainment is going backwards for the most needy children, who are largely white working class. Former permanent secretary Jonathan Slater tells #R4Today what he thinks should be done to help.
