Funny Take? I would take Jalon Walker over Pearce everytime 😅
James Pearce Jr. had 10.5 sacks Carson Schwesinger had 2.5 sacks I get the 156 tackles were great, but I’m taking Pearce every time. Xavier Watts with 5 interceptions also wins this award in many other years. #Falcons

He’s bigger… faster… stronger armed… so many would tell you he could be!!! But who knows! I’ve seen good college players be bad in NFL… I’ve seen avg college players be good in NFL… I’ve seen both become GREAT in NFL… So we should probably wait and see!!!

Think we should hold guys accountable for stupid takes. Keep in mind JaMarcus Russel was 2007. I get it the number 1 spot is clear so we need to make other headlines but come on.
Is it a hot take to say Mendoza isn’t a top-10 QB prospect since 2020? He’s also probably the worst QB drafted 1st overall in the NFL Draft in at least 20 years.

Diese Theorie man müsste das Team fixen bevor man den QB draftet ist wirklich spannend. Maye, Williams, Burrow und co beweisen. Du kannst auch einen QB in einem schlechten Team entwickeln und es ist leichter ein Team um einen QB aufzubauen als andersrum https://t.co/lDdaTn3CKa

Main question? Why should a team go up to #2 or #3. You will hear these trade down scenarios, but there ist no player to move up with several firsts.
The Arizona Cardinals best course of action may be to: 1. Trade Kyler Murray (increased value now that Moore is staying) for future picks. 2. Trade down from pick 3 to stock pile for 2027. 3. Pick your guy at QB in 2027.

100% agree and a great take. People compare Mendoza to not great but good NFL Quarterbacks and tell you he ist not the #1 or even more ist a second round or later product.

Mein Gefühl ist wirklich das wir bei Mendoza/Moore ein bisschen in diese Low Level Drake Maye/Caleb Williams Thematik rutschen. Gefühlt ist es schlecht ein Pocket Passer ohne hohe Athletik zu sein. Diese Stories waren schon bei Maye Thema und ich verstehe es nur bedingt.
I think Mendoza is an operator. Efficient, accurate, and can move the chains with his legs just enough. I DON’T think he can go to Vegas #1 overall and make them competitive in a stacked AFC West. I personally think they will need a quarterback with higher athletic upside to

Die Frage nach dem Team First oder QB First ist jedes Jahr wieder spannend und ich finde nach wie vor die Erfahrung zeigt. Gute Quarterbacks überleben ein schlechtes Team. Lawrence, Burrow, Maye... Noch außerhalb der Bewertung aber auch Williams. QB first muss der approach sein.

Also nicht das möchte das die Browns einen QB draften. Aber dieser Maye/Williams Vergleich ist einfach haarsträubend weil beide eben viel mehr in ihrer Rookie Saison gezeigt haben.

Das Dante Moore erst 20 Jahre ist, ist auch Wahnsinn. Ich hoffe er geht in den Draft und ich muss ehrlich sagen ein Jahr Geeno Smith + Dante Moore könnte ein sehr guter Plan für die Raiders sein. Ich mag Mendoza aber was das Ceiling angeht ist Moore #1
