my friend & i were laughing about how being a founder right now is basically a weekday hobby. ai made day 0 stupidly easy because you can summon a name, a logo, assets, a half coherent product demo, all before your coffee cools. it’s insane & kind of beautiful. but that ease is

I agree with the silo problem, but it also comes down to comp and promo structures. In most large companies, you don't get credit for being a good corporate citizen. Helped someone out with their project? That's nice. But what did you do for your group? How did you meet your
Why do large companies progress slower than small ones? While a lot has been written about the cost of communication and collaboration in these companies, I think there is something else at play as well. It's not just that communication and collaboration costs rise per se, but

San Jose is keeping flock ALPR data for a year? That’s absurd. I want to see that use case. If the data isn’t used immediately for traffic enforcement, amber alerts or other urgent things, it should be deleted quickly. (With exception of found violations.)

Marginal improvement to @flySFO security line. I hope this was paid for by @Clear, not taxpayers. Probably not: Clear called launch “innovative public–private partnership.” The only time I’ve saved time with clear at SFO was departing from int.l terminal on @VietnamAirlines.
