@RagingLibNana Well done Canada 🇨🇦 👏🏼 👏🏼 Australia 🇦🇺 did this back in the 90s & we haven’t had any mass shootings since then. Also it was done by our conservative party who were in power at the time with bipartisan support from the Labor party. NZ 🇳🇿 also did this after the mosque shooting.

@RagingLibNana @1flwpbmll I sincerely hope it works better for Canada. The US started optional gun buy backs in 1992...you can see how beautifully that has worked out for us! That said, any effort to remove ARs is brilliant and banning the sale or purchase is wonderful!

@RagingLibNana Just to be clear, it is not a buy-back "order" It is a voluntary program. They had already banned the sale, purchase, and importation of those specific guns back in May.
