The New York Knicks requested permission Wednesday morning to speak to Mavericks coach Jason Kidd – and Dallas gave a firm rejection, sources tell ESPN. Knicks have been denied now on Kidd, Minnesota's Chris Finch and Houston's Ime Udoka.

Low key wild that the piece I wrote about NBA playoff decals being removed still shows up in some way every year. (The article was from 2015).
The NBA reportedly removed the Finals and Playoffs decals from the floor in 2014 due to “player safety,” per @FOS . “‘There were a lot of considerations taken into account in making this decision, including player safety,’ an NBA spokesman said in 2014 of removing playoff decals.
