@granthpaulsen These to me are distinct from those who simply want to stand up. As long as they’re not pushing/shoving/getting in people’s way, I have no problem with someone who just stands up after being strapped to an uncomfortable seat for multiple hours.

There’s a summer league baseball team in town that could really use some sponsorship dollars. Maybe now that this guy won’t be hogging every local business’s money, they could get some.

Hearing the Twitter generation talk about college baseball is nails on a chalkboard to people who followed college baseball before Twitter was a thing.
Why does the CWS not wait a week until the final series so we can see the best pitching matchups? . We literally wait a full week every two rounds for March Madness and the CFP. It’s a win for everybody….

This is awesome. Laughed the whole way through it and it brought back great memories of my first year as a clueless HSBB official. Thank you guys for doing this. Refs aren’t bad people who are out to screw you, they just want sports to endure.
Recent survey of officials in NC found more than half considered quitting, citing sportsmanship and compensation as concerns. So @giglio_OG and I ref’d an inter-squad scrimmage for @millbrookcoachd’s @MillbrookMBB team to prove a point — it ain’t easy!

@JPFinlayNBCS JP it’s not so much that they were calling them on us, it’s what they weren’t calling on Dallas. Huge difference between pre-snap and live-ball penalties. Our players and coaches have a right to be upset with how the game was called.
