Am I the only author doing this these days? What with all the AI talk going on, every time I figure out something cool and unexpected for my stories, I glare at my laptop, thinking, beat that AI. 😏

Wish I’d known how much patience this writing thing was going to need 😅. You write an eclectic scene you’re so excited to share, only to have to gag yourself for months IF NOT YEARS so you don’t spoil anything for your readers. Knew I should have gone into writing shorts!

Thanks, Levi, for such an interesting chat about the exploration of mental health in fantasy!
In today's episode, fellow contributor to the Alchemy of Sorrow anthology @RachelEmma_Shaw and I discuss the importance of fantasy fungi, embodying magic in our worldbuilding, and the power of fiction that tackles difficult topics head-on.
