#ChildCare relief funds made a difference in shaping the child care system and the lives of families and child care providers. All this progress is at stake without a significant, permanent increase in federal funding.

All throughout history, women of color — particularly Black women — have been exploited to care for our country’s kids. This #WomensHistoryMonth, let’s commit to centering them and paying them as we rebuild a #childcare system that works for all of us. #ChildCareIsGenderJustice

1/5 #BlackHistoryMonth celebrates the countless ways Black communities have made our nation stronger while also being a time to reflect on ways anti-Black racism & bias cause harm. One way that Black children endure harm is through disproportionate rates of harsh discipline.

Child care is the work that makes all other work happen. Creating a #ChildCare system that actually works for families, providers, kids, and our communities is key to achieving racial and gender justice. Hoping to hear @POTUS address the #StateofChildCare in the #SOTU.
